Earlier today I was sending a “Hey, it’s Monday!” list to my friend and thought I’d share it with the rest of you.

Here’s a fun way to wrap presents to make them super easy to open in a hurry. And it means there are less tiny pieces of wrapping paper all over the floor for you to clean up after the mayhem.

It’s wintry weather in some parts of the world… so here is a cute way for the ladies to keep their toes warm without giving up some of their favorite toe-cleavage bearing shoes.

To satisfy your sweet tooth here are some beautiful holiday cupcakes.

Let us not forget all the cake wrecks out there around this holiday season.

And to top of today here is Santigold being cool.

Happy day!

Tiny Fig Goodies

tiny figBecause I sold vinyl toys for over a year, I think I’m pretty partial to items that come in in blind packaging. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a blind box carries one of many possible items. To some people blind boxes are exciting and to others it’s the bane of their existence. To me, blind box goodies are little mysterious wonders. My latest investment on etsy went to The Tiny Fig, a shop I discovered on the Tokyo Bunnie blog. I must say I am most excited by all of the cute earrings available through their shop. Hoping to get a pair in the mystery box! But since everything on The Tiny Fig website is adorable, I’d be happy with most anything.

It’s funny when you’re six year old niece is enamored by your cutesy, crafty jewelry. I’m happy to keep the kid in me at the forefront of my fashion choices :)

Words of Advice for Today

Take some time out to be more aware of your surroundings. It’s easy to frantically move from one project to another. Make time to clear a space for yourself. Enjoy life because even though we know it goes by ridiculously fast, we still tend to sweat the small stuff. Breathe in. Good. Now out. Yessss.

My niece and I made some play dough today (thank you CRAFT!) and here is the result of our efforts in sculpting. A dozen roses anyone?

Smell a rose or two

If you have time and are in the mood for some cute things, check out all the kawaii goodies on etsy. I’ll start you off with a few:

Little Apple Crafts

Big Baby Clouds!

Paper Glitter Stationery

Thanks for being awesome and go out and share your awesome-ness with the world. X

This beautiful dessert comes from flagrante delicia (burning pleasure/delight), a foodie blog I stumbled upon last week. The blogger is law student turned chef turned pastry expert, Leonor de Sousa Bastos. She is so charming in her descriptions, citing little stories and creating warm and pleasing images.
